In a Moment

In a Moment, a new exhibition featuring selections from the collaborative works of artist Ofra Zimbalista and two eminent voices in Israeli poetry, Yona Wallach and Agi Mishol, will open on March 20, 2025 at the Zimbalista Gallery, Tel Aviv. The iconic works of Zimbalista, Wallach, and Mishol will be presented across the gallery’s two exhibition spaces, alongside additional pieces from the Zimbalista collection, on display in the open-air sculpture courtyard.

The exhibition offers a glimpse into the artistic dialogue between Zimbalista, Wallach, and Mishol, shedding light on how their personal and creative bonds subtly influenced their respective practices. In addition to artworks, the exhibition will include letters and photographs, first revealed in the original 1984 presentation of Wallach and Zimbalista’s work at Sara Levi Gallery, Tel Aviv, and not shown since. The confluence of multidisciplinary visual art and poetry—a hallmark of Zimbalista’s vision—was a key inspiration for the gallery’s founding.

The exhibition is made possible through a collaboration with the Benno Kalev Collection, Gordon Gallery, and Avraham Hai
