20.3.25-10.8.25 A Little More

A Little More, an exhibition drawn from the shared body of work of artist Ofra Zimbalista and two of the most central figures in Israeli poetry, Yona Wallach and Agi Mishol.

The mythological works of Zimbalista, Wallach, and Mishol are presented in the gallery’s two spaces, alongside additional works from Zimbalista’s collection, displayed in the sculpture garden in the courtyard.

The exhibition offers a glimpse into the artistic dialogue that took place between Zimbalista, Wallach, and Mishol, and reveals the discourse the three conducted together. Among the various works, letters and photographs are also on view, first exhibited at Wallach and Zimbalista’s original joint exhibition at Sarah Levy Gallery in Tel Aviv in 1984, and not shown since.

The encounter between poetry and visual art, and the multidisciplinary practice that characterized Zimbalista, form the foundation and source of inspiration for the establishment of Zimbalista Gallery.

The exhibition was made in collaboration with the Beno Kalev Collection, Gordon Gallery, and Avi Chai.
